Hi Lisa, Our bully has been going crazy lately with an itch on his butt. He has a cork screw tail and the vet said that the tail may be turning in onself into his butt and thats why he spins around like crazy trying to get at it. We've tried creme's and Gold bond powder but nothing seems to work--we even tried protrolem jelly(vaseline) but he is still going crazy. I clean the area daily and keep it dry and clean. PLEASE HELP --is there any relieve for our bully. We may be in your area the week of May 4th and if you were around we thought maybe we'd stop by with Huey--let me know. Thanks Siobain

Our Molly was having an itchy butt also, dragging her bottom on the ground. Mentioned this to our vet when she was there for her checkup and she needed to have her anal glands expressed. ( of which she was not very fond!!!). She did not have any bad odor, but thew vet said that they usually do if the glands are clogged, so we caught it at the beginning. She said to increase her fiber ( green beans or fiber supplemant), though we have not done that. She has had minimal table food and she looks great, so I hate to mess with it. Just thought I would mention if your cream doesn't work. Kelly

Anal sac's are a big culprite... yes, i agree ..........but we have already been down that road with Huey i believe .....he does have a tight cork screw like his grandmom...That we would have to maintain it was on the verge of ingrown/inverted she did this as she got older and the fat rolls just hung over it which didnt help...they do act as if they need there anal sacs extracted and we can learn how to do this if we ask out vets so we dont have to take them to a vet to have it done............ask your vets they should assist you guys if they dont then you need another vet dont let this cost you a couple hundred dollars...learn how ! it can be a little nasty ...Pumpkin pie filling is a great fiber and they love it!
