Hi,

Tear stains?  Is there any home remedy to lighten them or to get rid of them?

I use corn starch mixed w/peroxide then after it is dried and cleaned off I put on some desitin. Also tums neutralizes the ph in tears so given daily until it clears up works well too.

I was wondering,my little girl has a really tight tail. What I do to wash it is use suave clarifying shampoo then after it is dry I use gold bond powder. This works quite well for me but do you have any other suggestions. Also I have tried using otomax ointment but that was just messy.

gold bond medicated powder is a good thing to have around for the bulldogs. If the tail is bad I will use the nolvasan ointment after cleaning with an iodine scrub solution its what they scrub with prior to surgerys. They also make a nolvasan scrub its blue in color comes liquid and ointment. Hope this help does anyone else have any ideas?

Chincoteague i think is spelled correctly......that was my first pony out of 4 kids in my family and neighbors they all got tired of the crazy bitting pony......and he would too! ears pinned at a full gallop mouth spred wide! I was the only one that cared for him although was donated a 4-h pony that no-one could do anything with, owned him till he was in his 30's just died a few years ago in his late 40's.....I remeber not owning a saddle I wrode bareback all over......litterally wore the hair off his back on each side of the spine.........those were the days

Hi Lisa,

I was glad to hear from you!  "Yankee" aka Spanky is doing great and has been such a wonderful addition to the family.  I just received his NY Yankee jacket in the mail the other day, I'll have to take some pics... he sure is a heart melter!!  We will definitely stop by for a visits soon, I'm sure he misses you too.  Thanks so much for such a wonderful pup!
